03.05.2021 - Documents, emails, photos, videos, music and much more are stored as digital data on computers, smartphones and tablets. But it cannot be ruled out that they will be lost, e.g. through accidental deletion, technical defects, theft of a device or a virus. Therefore: Back up your data regularly!
What happens if you drop your smartphone in water, your computer is attacked or your tablet develops a technical defect?
- If your photos, your contacts or your diary are important to you, remember to make a regular backup of your data.
- Save this on an external hard drive, for example, which you disconnect from the device after the backup. This way, the data cannot be attacked in the event of a malware infection.
- Test from time to time whether the data restoration from your backup works. Another option is to back up data to a cloud service. Be careful which data you entrust to a cloud solution.
