28.04.2025 - The director of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Florian Schütz, will be attending the RSA Conference in San Francisco from 28 April to 1 May 2025. The conference is one of the leading events in the field of IT and cybersecurity bringing together representatives from industry, society and government to discuss a host of cyber-related topics. Florian Schütz will be accompanied by Ambassador Benedikt Wechsler and will take part in various panels and bilateral discussions with representatives from industry and international organisations.

The annual RSA Conference in San Francisco is considered one of the most important international cybersecurity conferences. From 28 April to 1 May 2025, it will bring together representatives from industry, society and administration to discuss topics such as new technologies, security and innovation in the cyber sector.
As part of the RSA Conference, Florian Schütz will take part in the one-day International Cybersecurity Forum, to which selected representatives of authorities from over 35 countries are invited. He will be accompanied by Benedikt Wechsler, Ambassador and head of the Digitalisation Division at the State Secretariat of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).
Florian Schütz will take part in various panels and discussions, including a round table on best practices for securing domain name servers (DNS), as well as a panel on regulations and how they can influence and shape operational cybersecurity. He will also be taking part in a discussion on trustworthy ecosystems, which is being organised by the Cyber Peace Institute together with Swissnex, the network for education, research, innovation and art.
Furthermore, various bilateral talks are set to take place with representatives from industry and international organisations.
