Cybersecurity was the focus of various side events at the WEF, which Florian Schütz, Director of the NCSC, attended with a small delegation from his office: in a discussion on building trust in digital products, participants focused on policy and strategic approaches to cybersecurity to build trust in secure IT products.

A panel on artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technology focused on how to adequately address the challenges of current and future developments related to the increasing use of AI and post-quantum cryptography.

The NCSC delegation attended the Geneva Dialogue event at the House of Switzerland, which was held as part of Geneva Day. The Geneva Dialogue provides an international platform for exchange between government, business, academia and civil society, focusing on the responsible behaviour of all actors in cyberspace. During the event, Mr Schütz stressed that it is the responsibility of all participants to help create a resilient and secure cyberspace.

In addition to attending the WEF side events, the delegation also held bilateral meetings with representatives of the cybersecurity industry.
